I know this is a little nerdy, but I am so excited that a book I helped create, a book I have a story in, is in the Library! It’s like I’m a real boy! Or real female author.
Roar: True Tales of Women Warriors has been admitted to the County of Fairfax Public Library system. My book is available for free and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
In addition, I, and several of the other storytellers of the show Roar: True Tales of Women Warriors, are participating in an event at the City of Fairfax Library. March is Women’s History Month and the City of Fairfax Public Library is celebrating the month by hosting a series of events on the theme of “Nevertheless, She Persisted.” And I get to join my voice to theirs in a free storytelling event at the library.
Join us. Roar with us.
